Power Generation Technician – Terror Lake – This full‐time union position is responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining, and operating equipment at and around the Terror Lake Hydroelectric plant and associated equipment, and remote generators and equipment including but not limited to the portal site, gatehouse site, outlet works, tunnel, dam, and 17 miles of road. May be required to maintain and repair generating equipment and auxiliaries at any location that KEA operates and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment. An appropriate vocational degree, Electrical Certificate of Fitness, or certified OEM Trained is required. Experience in Power Plant Maintenance is desired. This position lives and works in a camp environment, and will work two weeks on, two weeks off shift of twelve (12)‐hour days.

Associate Power Generation Technician – This full‐time union position will learn and assist with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of wind turbines, flywheel energy storage system, battery energy storage system, diesel electric generators, and general power plant and facility maintenance. An appropriate vocational degree, Electrical Certificate of Fitness, or certified OEM Trained is required.

Journeyman Lineman – This full-time union position assists in providing for the maximum utilization of electrical equipment and control apparatus used in supplying power to consumers served by the Cooperative.  Applicants must have or be able to obtain a current Journeyman Power Lineman Certificate of Fitness from the State of Alaska Division of Labor Standards and Safety.
